Last updated 15 July 2026.
Vida Vegas Media Pty Ltd (ABN 48 621 445 902) operates Vida Vegas Magazine at vidavegasmagazine.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information about visitors to our website, in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in Schedule 1 of that Act.
Information we collect. We collect limited personal information when you visit the site. This includes technical information sent by your browser (IP address, user agent, referrer), aggregate analytics data collected via Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics, and any information you voluntarily provide when contacting our editor via email.
How we use it. We use analytics data to understand which articles our readers find useful, to detect and prevent abuse, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell or share personal information with operators or third party advertisers for targeting purposes.
Cookies. We use three cookie categories. Essential cookies maintain your session and preferences. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible) aggregate page-view data with IP anonymisation enabled. Preference cookies remember display choices such as text size. You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings without loss of core functionality.
Data retention. We retain analytics data for twenty four months, after which it is deleted from the underlying analytics platforms. Email correspondence with the editorial team is retained for the life of any related editorial work plus three years, after which it is deleted.
Third parties. We use Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics as our analytics processors. We use Cloudflare for content delivery and security. Each processor is bound by its own privacy commitments; we do not authorise onward disclosure for advertising purposes.
Your rights. Under the APPs, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to lodge a complaint about our handling of your information.
Complaints. Complaints about our privacy practices should be directed to [email protected] in the first instance. We commit to a written response within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) via oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
